Landon B-Ball tournament

We had a hard tournament this last weekend.  Landon had to play in a tournament where they had to combined some 6 grade and 5th grade teams with his little 4th grade team.   He was up against people almost twice his size, but they had grit and didn't give up.  The fought had tell the last second and we are proud of these boys.  We did win our very first game.  They were a team from vegas and they were about our age and size so that was fun.  The next couple days the teams were all older and bigger.

Landon had a basketball tournament at the end of July, so while we were at that Brecken was invited to go up to Fish Lake with Uncle Quin and Aunt Dani's family.  He was pretty excited to go and Landon was pretty sad to miss it.  Brecken had so much fun with Kai and sleeping out in a tent.  He was excited to see his other cousin Laiklyn up there as Myas friend since Landon couldn't go. They had fun fishing, hiking, and playing games.  His favorite part was the ice cream and razor rides, as well as some movies Quin let them watch white chicks and he hasn't stopped talking and laughing about it since he watched it.  Quin also had them wash up in the lake and Brecken said it was quiet cold.

Shaylee's Mission July 14th-21st 2026

You might be thinking hey you skipped the week between the 6th and the 14th.  That would be correct.  Shaylee didn't call last week because she had the opportunity to go to Jasper National Park with a family that offered to take the sisters. She said it was so pretty and they saw such beautiful waterfalls.  She loved it.  So we then had to wait Until the 21st to talk to miss Shaylee.  She told us all about her trip plus canada day, and all the things.

CHAPTER 54: FOREST HEIGHTS- DOWNTOWN EDMONTON

WEATHER: Mix of sun and rain 

MISSION 5K

We had the mission 5k this week and it was super fun! In our mission once a year its tradition for us to run a 5k. It was rainning all night the night before we went so when we went running it was super wet and humid and lots of slippery mud! After the 5k we got to play some outside games and i played spike ball and that was fire  it didnt really feel like a zone conference but oh well  (im most certanitly not complaining) 

JASPAR NATIONAL PARK

We went to Jaspar national park on Monday for our P-day and it was stunning!!! The drive from here is about 4 hours there and 4 hours back so it took up the entirety of the day! Shout out to the Ovietts for taking us! It was so pretty but exhausting at the same time  It was the first time i saw mountains in over a year... so it was amazing! 

HIGHLIGHTS: 

♡ Ran up exchanges with two trainees 

♡ George is 1 week into keeping the word of wisdom after 40 years of smoking 

♡ The elders bought us frostys 

♡ Ate a tower of nachos (6 layers) 

♡ Walked in dog pee 

♡ Played some soccer 

♡ On that finding grind
